Booking & Payment
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once we've received and secured your payment. Until then, your booking remains tentative.
Cancellations & Refunds
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on the rate type you choose at the time of booking.
Non-refundable rate: No changes or cancellations are permitted, and no refund will be issued.
Refundable rate: You must cancel at least 7 days before your check-in date to receive a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of check-in, the full booking amount is non-refundable.
If you book via a third-party booking site, their cancellation policy will apply, and you must manage any changes or cancellations directly through that platform.
Check-in & Check-out
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM. You can check in until 11:30 PM with prior notice. Check-out is at 10:00 AM.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Yes, early check-in or late check-out is available for a charge of £20.00, subject to availability. Please inform us in advance so we can check whether we’re able to accommodate your request.
Keyless Entry System
How does self-check-in work?
The Civic Hall | Wayth Hotels operates a self check-in system with keyless entry.
Once you’ve made your booking, you’ll receive your booking confirmation. An online check-in link will be sent 5 days before your arrival date. For last-minute bookings, this will be sent immediately.
After completing the online check-in via our Guest App, your access code will appear in the app and will also be sent to your email. This code gives you entry to both the building and your room.
Online check-in is required for all guests, especially those who book via third-party platforms, as travel agencies hide guest contact details. We require this information in order to issue your access code.

or via our website. This ensures all information is sent directly to your email, rather than through a third-party booking platform chat.
When will I receive my access code?
You will receive your check-in instructions along with a link to complete the online check-in. Once completed, your access code will appear in the Guest App and will also be sent to your email.
How does the keyless entry system work?
Our secure keyless entry system generates a unique, time-sensitive code for each guest, giving you access to both the main front door and your designated room.
What if I lose or forget my access code?
No worries! You can email us at hello@waythhotels.com with your reservation number and primary guest's name, or contact us via WhatsApp for assistance.
Is the keyless entry system secure?
Yes, it's highly secure. Each access code is unique and time-sensitive, ensuring only you and your party can access your room during your stay.
What if I have trouble entering the building?
We don't have 24-hour on-site reception staff. If you encounter any issues with entry, please contact our management team directly at hello@waythhotels.com
Hotel Amenities & Services
Are there discounts for longer stays?
Yes, we offer special discounts for longer stays. We usually publish these offers on the Promotions page of our website.
If you’re planning a much longer stay, booking multiple rooms for an extended period, or would like to rent the entire first-floor space, please email us at hello@waythhotels.com for more information.
How do I access the Wi-Fi?
You'll find the Wi-Fi login details, including QR codes, on business cards in each room.
Where can I leave tips for the staff?
Each room has a business card with a QR code for easy tipping.
Does the hotel offer breakfast?
We don’t offer breakfast on-site, but there are plenty of lovely cafés and restaurants nearby to choose from.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited anywhere in the property. If smoking is found to have taken place, or if the room smells of smoke, a £150 penalty will apply.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome, but this must be requested in advance and approved. A £20 fee per night applies.
Is The CIvic Hall eco-friendly?
Yes, The Civic Hall Botique Aparthotel is an eco-friendly property. We’re committed to sustainable practices, including using eco-conscious toiletries, energy-efficient systems, and keyless entry to reduce waste. We continuously look for ways to minimise our environmental impact while providing a comfortable and modern stay for our guests.
Parking & Transportation
Is parking available at the hotel?
There is no on-site parking. However, several public car parks and street parking options are available within a short walk of the hotel.
